Why Therapy?

Therapy is one of the bravest things we can do for ourselves. We all have experiences and feelings at times that we need help understanding or getting through. Without addressing them they can contribute to depression, anxiety, issues in relationships, physical symptoms, isolation, and in many other ways. Therapy is a place to explore what is happening for you, including the current and past factors that may be contributing. By truly understanding where we are and how we got here, we will have a greater capacity to make decisions on what is next. Your unique voice and experience matter and are vital to begin healing. I would love to partner with you in your journey.

About Me (She/Her)

I have always found myself drawn to putting pieces together. I can see how that has shown up in my relationships, in previous (and current) career choices, and even in how much I enjoy cooking, baking and art. My desire to make sense of everything around me, at some point, became an understanding that the pieces of myself needed attention as well. My personal experience with therapy started there, and while that path has included pain and heartbreak at times, it has led to a place where I can make choices about myself and my life, and it’s been so freeing! As a person, and now a therapist, I want to help facilitate whatever your path to healing and freedom looks like. I love the resilience and vulnerability in people and am honored to get to experience it. There is so much that disconnects us, therapy can be a place to make connections, both within ourselves and also subsequently with those around us.
